Steuergerät mit Laptop auslesen

Kann ich bestätigen! WDS kann über den sogenannten DATALOGGER einige Sensoren und Aktoren in Echtzeit am Bildschirm anzeigen und aufzeichnen. Eigentlich so gut wie alles. Beim EEC-5 natürlich noch mehr als beim EEC-4.

Gibt es inzwischen denn schon eine Möglichkeit, mit einem Interface, was alle Protokolle unterstützt (also die neuen), auch ein EEC-4 auszulesen??? (Selber mit dem Laptop)

Hier gibts ca. in der Mitte der Seite 2 Programme zum runterladen! Die warten dann nur auf COM-Eingänge..dann würde das Auslesen auch gehen. !!

Hi Christian,

Yes, I have done diagnostic for EEC IV (and for EEC V).
Now I am at stage almost done, but I still wait for factory PCB.
This week should arrived, so maybe in the next week should be the first series of connectors.

It can handle live data on EEC IV and V for many many cars.
Every car which has pind 3 and 11 has EEC IV and it is able to read.
And every car which has 2 and 10 pins has EEC V and it is able to read.
My soft is focused to the engines. In first stage, my soft can handle only engines.

I have not web page for this product yet, unfortunatelly.

EEC-V Steuergeräte in Echtzeit auslesen ist auch keine Kunst. Einfach OBD Adapter anschliessen und sämtliche Sensorwerte sind direkt live abzulesen.

You will get cabel with OBD connector (like many other OBDII cables).
In this connector is AVR chip which is able to communicate with EECs.

This cable is connected by USB port into PC.

And you will get software which is able to:

- (EEC IV and V) read DTCs
- (EEC IV and V) clear DTCs
- (EEC IV and V) read many many PIDs values from engine (common and Ford specific)
- (EEC IV and V) read very fast live data (not like on OBDII with 3 pids per one seconds, but maybe 30 pids per second, meybe more, I did not measure this yet, but I use Ford specific commands for very fast live data)

- (EEC IV and V) read adaptation table - very informative for some diagnose
- (EEC V only) - read VIN code from EEC

- (EEC V only) - you will be able to handle EEC OUTPUTS ! for testing purposes
like command "OPEN EGR valve" for example
or "SET IDLE valve to 50%", ...

My cable can handle even TD engines and TDDI engines. It is not OBDII compliant (before 2006?),
so my cable is one cheapest which can handle this engines. (I don't know about another product ...)

These cars has limited set of command, but DTCs and
some live data there are also.


And one thing more - this cable is almost fully compatible with ELM327/ELM320. It is cable which can handle only
Ford buses !, not K-line !, so it is like ELM320, but with enhancing features like ELM327 (com speed, faster handling of pids data, ...).
So you can use this cable with any another software for OBDII Ford cars.
Older Fords has very bad support for OBDII commands, but newer has better support.
My soft does not use OBDII commands, but Ford specific commands.
These commands are, simple sayed, better in many ways than OBDII commands.

Da is man ein paar Tage im Urlaub und dann sooo viele Informationen...

Gibt also schon diverse Projekte, die sich mit dem Auslesen der DCL-Schnitte beschäftigen..

Sehr schön ist der Artikel von "OneEng" über das DLC-Protokoll:

"DCL is the most silly, mixed up one I have ever seen."

sowie:

"well, each vehicle had its own PID map. All of this is going to be quite an adventure. "

Ich hab irgendwie grad nich so die Lust, mich da durchzufräsen, zumal andere schon viel weiter sind...
