deep dish rims

    I have seen many deep dish style rims on mk4/5 fiestas in your album section. In the uk not many people put these on their cars, they prefer to squeeze on 17/18 inch alloys.

    I would like a set of deep dish rims for my mk5 fiesta, they are difficult to find in the uk. I would be grateful if some people could post pictures of this style of alloy with details...make/model/price.

    The only people i ever see with deep dish rims in uk are VW enthusiasts and these are very rare.

    The reason for that is probably, that we have pretty strict laws regarding the size of the wheels we are allowed to put on the car. You are not allowed to increase the size of the wheel more than 1 % or decrease it more than 4, without having to readjust the speedometer etc... This leaves us with a maximum rim-size of 16 inch with 195/40 R16 tyres.

    How does that work in UK?

    I have this compination at my front (8x16 with 195/40/16)!!! :D You can see that on a earlier post!

    in the uk i dont think there are any laws on the size of wheels you put on your car. However the insurance companies do not like big wheels.
    It is common here to see modified small cars (fiestas, citreon saxos, vauxhall/opel corsas with 18/19 inch wheels.

    Do those wheels eg 7*15 and wider fit on a fiesta without modification? I would like some wheels that dont force me to modify the arches of my car.
